Lacey wanted to help more people with money and be able to hire people in the military community that are financial professionals, however she didn’t want their military background to be the sole focus of this identity. She wanted to provide a way for them to get to where they want to be and reach their financial goals. Passion, positivity and a support system to help.
A FOUNDATION OF STRENGTH
For the MilMo concept I loved the idea of stacking and building blocks to encompass that learning aspect that one will experience when encountering anything dealing with the brand. The shape and perspective builds upon that concept in an unconvential way, especially in the financial space. Even though we don’t necessarily want to emphasize the military aspect, we do want to show that the basis and foundation is built on strength and only grows from there. The submark is a subtle callback to a dogtag.
BLUE UNITY
While we know blue to represent calm there’s also power in this ombre type palette and very strong patterns when used together. To reinforce the learning and foundational aspect we have strong lines and elements that remind you of architecture (graph and dot paper). With there being a want to not put the military aspect in the forefront this system does the job of reinforcing all the characteristic of someone who has been in military... strength, perserverance and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
