Born out of a personal journey to find a better way to navigate life’s challenges – without damaging a reputation personally or professionally, Kasie discovered that openly discussing frustrations and challenges aloud led to genuine resolution and healing. Recognizing the limitations of confiding in friends, family, and colleagues—often feeling like emotional dumping or cultivating toxicity—she sought a space that offered comfortable and non-clinical support. Kasie wanted the brand to be bold to really drive home the fact that this is where you can let it all out completely unfiltered.

BOLD. UNFILTERED. SUPPORTED. RELIEVED.

When Kasie came to me she had done some diy branding for the company and website and was ready to build something that would tell the story more fully while differentiating her in the space. First, I wanted to make sure that we focused on more of the bold and unfiltered aspect than the previous brand in the moodboard creation. That set the tone for securing where we would be going with the design.

YOU’RE FREE TO SPEAK YOUR MIND

To really get across that you are coming to a place where you are free to speak what’s on your mind, especially as a lot of us feel there isn’t a place “truly” like that, the logo is designed to speak to that freedom. This firmly plants Rantivity in a space that would differentiate them from a clinical solution, which was very important to establish. Not to diminish the calming aspect of the results from coming to the company. We just chose to bring that out in a more secondary way, than primary.

BRANDED TO CONVEY EMOTION

Design elements of quotations, speech bubbles and lightening rods were styled to support the idea of this “freedom to rant”. As an extension of these elements, patterns and textures were chosen that could be used in varying brand colors to convey different emotions. The woman screaming color was a great photographic depiction of who the brand is. Building out these tie-in elements helped in the creation of the app she was developing to connect “Active Listeners” around the world with “Ranters”.
