After feeling unheard by her initial event designer, Smonia and I chatted about what she was envisioning and I prepared some conceptual ideas for how to make that vision come alive. The location was extra special to them (the City of Raleigh Museum) because they met at a museum! So, my husband and I made a trip down to Raleigh to visit and see how to go about setting things up and I creatively got to work! We either built the decor ourselves or worked with vendors to supply just the right details to build the aesthetic.
