MINIMAL. STYLISH. ELEGANT.

Dareece prides herself on being easy to work with, friendly and talented enough to work on all types of textures of hair, with a focus on weddings. She is prone to wear black almost everywhere but does enjoy the inclusion of color in the right instances, with lavendar being her favorite.  I wanted to depict an air of luxuriousness but keep it approachable.

MODERN AND MINIMAL BUT WITH CONCEPTUAL STYLE

To tie in Dareece’s calming nature and minimalistic aesthetic with the variety of textures of hair she works with I visually illustrated the concept of hair texture through the type treatment of the logo by utilizing the font weight of the typeface. The submark uses an abbreviated version that still uses the same concept of thick to thin.

HAIR HAS ITS OWN PERSONALITY

To further lean into the aspect of visualizing the variety of hair textures she works with, I included straight, wavy and coily hair illustrations in the brand build. Lavendar was a color that spoke to Dareece’s personality. I also included a pastel gradient with lavendar as a primary color. In balance to the black and white minimalism of the rest of the build, it was used to bring in that bit of personality to the brand.
