Xobe Films pays tribute to their foundational film, “Music Box.” Xobe is a nod to that by being “box” spelled backwards. As a music box holds connections to emotional experiences, the type holds its base but can also fit the subject matter to shape and meld itself to the circumstances of its surroundings, effectively transporting you into each unique experience. The music note was built to be seen and unseen. A callback that may not make sense at first and then becomes this beautiful aha moment when it does. For the icon we combine the film reel with, again, the music note. Like a layer of emotions playing out as the story builds itself.
